I've had a few days off from completing assignment 5 as I've been distracted by all the events going on in Lyme to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. In all there were 44 different events so I had to pick and choose which to go for and of course the rain spoiled everything on Bank Holiday Monday.
Also had the distraction of family visiting which caused chaos as we (two of us) live in a small cottage and numbers swelled to six which meant we were all falling over each other. Add the pouring rain to the equation and it was all a bit fraught.
Visitors have gone, Jubilee has been celebrated in true British fashion and things can return to normal. If only the rain would go to Spain!
